An outstanding specialist enriched with carbon fibres

PCTG is a copolyester with growing popularity among users of 3D printing technology. In terms of properties, it is often combined with PETG, well known to every printer. It is worth noting, however, that PCTG is characterized by a much higher impact strength. The high flexibility of PCTG combined with high bondability of layers, high viscosity and negligible shrinkage make it an ideal polymer for composing composite materials.

As the first of the PCTG-based composites, a carbon fiber version was developed - PCTG CF10. The carbon fibers used give the filament an extremely high rigidity, while limiting the brittle cracking characteristic of other PETG-based carbon composites. The PCTG CF10 filament allows you to print elements with increased hardness and tensile strength than classic PCTG. The use of carbon fibers increases the thermal resistance of the filament, additionally reduces shrinkage and gives the characteristic "carbon" matte appearance to printed models.
