Spectrum filaments is a Polish brand producing filament for 3D printers. The offer includes PLA materials, ABS - in two diameters, PETG or specialty felts such as Carbon or glow-in-the-dark. Spectrum Filament will allow you to transfer all your projects into the real world in high quality. Thanks to a wide range of colors everyone should find something suitable for themselves.
Spectrum GreenyHT filament
High stiffness and temperature resistance
PLA filament, thanks to its extraordinary ease of printing, invariably enjoys the greatest popularity among users of FDM technology. The problem characteristic of conventional PLA-based filaments is the relatively low thermal resistance, often reaching 50-60°C for non-crystallized prints, which significantly limits their functional use.
As a result of many months of implementation tests, a new Spectrum GreenyHT filament was developed, based on a high-performance biopolymer with a softening point (VICAT) of up to 100°C and heat resistance (HDT B) of up to 90°C. In addition to improving the thermal properties, we also wanted to maintain the original mechanical characteristics of the material, which is why Spectrum GreenyHT does not contain plasticizers. What's more, in terms of stiffness and hardness, it significantly exceeds the classic PLA grades.
Spectrum GreenyHT, despite the modifications used, remains fully biodegradable and compostable in industrial conditions, as defined by the EN 13432 standard. The bio-base comes from non-genetically modified (GMO-free) sources. The material also meets the conditions for contact with food (more information in the food-contact section in the material's technical data sheet).
In addition, in the visual sphere, the Spectrum GreenyHT filament is distinguished by the roughness of the print surface. The irregularity and dullness of the surface effectively masks the layers, significantly increasing the aesthetic value of the printed models.
Spectrum GreenyHT is a filament for users who expect ease of printing, in an edition with increased functionality in terms of thermal resistance, high stiffness and a matte, rough finish.
