Polyamide 6 is one of the strongest materials used in desktop 3D printing technology. It is characterized by a combination of mechanical strength, stiffness, the ability to damp vibrations and abrasion resistance, which is unattainable for other filaments. To the wide spectrum of properties, it can successfully add chemical resistance and the ability to work continuously at high temperatures.

By introducing the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp CF15S thermally stabilized composite material filled with carbon fibers to the offer, it was decided to raise the bar even higher for nylon filaments. Spectrum PA6 Low Warp CF15S is a real specialist for heavy challenges. The "LowWarp" variety is characterized by additional admixtures aimed at improving the flow during extrusion of the material - and thus - better adhesion of the material particles. The use of 15% carbon fibers more than doubles the stiffness and increases the tensile strength (up to 120 MPa). In addition, Spectrum PA6 Low Warp CF15S has a higher HDT thermal resistance - 180°C (0.45MPa) compared to the unfilled version. The fiber content reduces the shrinkage characteristic of most high-temperature materials, significantly facilitating the printing process and gives the printouts an aesthetic, "carbon" look.
