Spectrum Filaments is a Polish brand that produces filament for 3D printers. The offer includes materials PLA, ABS - in two diameters, PETG or special filaments such as Carbon or glow in the dark. The Spectrum filament will allow you to transfer all your projects into the real world in high quality. Thanks to the wide range of colors, everyone should find something suitable for themselves.
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 filament
Heat stabilized copolyamide reinforced with 30% glass fibre
Spectrum PA6 GF30 is another composite material from our range based on technical nylon - PA6. This time we focused on filling with glass fibers, which are successfully used as an additive modifying the properties of materials. The use of this type of filler is mainly aimed at mechanical improvement in terms of tensile and compressive strength.
When selecting the composition of the composite, we wanted to bring out the full potential of glass fibers as an additive that improves parameters, which is why we focused on an uncompromising mixture with as much as 30% of their content. As with all our polymer-glass composites, we used a functionalized version of the fibers with a less aggressive geometry, limiting the degradation of the printer nozzle.
Spectrum PA6 GF30 is a filament for users who require high mechanical parameters, high hardness and thermal resistance from models. The high fiber filling makes it also a filament with very low processing shrinkage. What is worth noting, in the context of thermal resistance, the Spectrum PA6 GF30 filament is as good as the HDT - 180°C (0.45MPa) version with carbon fiber filling, which puts it at the forefront among materials dedicated to desktop 3D printers in this respect.
Advantages of PA6 Low Warp GF30:
- high mechanical properties and abrasion resistance
- excellent chemical resistance
- thermal resistance HDT - 180°C (0.45MPa)
- the ability to print on desktop printers without a heated chamber
- matte carbon print surface
- perfect bonding of layers
Application of PA6 Low Warp GF30:
- functional prototypes
- production tooling
- active elements of devices and machines - rotors, gears
- guides, toothed bars, guide rollers
- production of protection rings and plates with increased chemical and corrosion resistance
