Spectrum PET-G Premium filament
The Spectrum PET-G Premium filament is next to PLA one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. A very important advantage of PETG is practically zero shrinkage coefficient and low moisture absorption compared to other thermoplastics used in FDM/FFF 3D printing. Parts printed from PET-G maintain stability of properties for a long time of operation. The Spectrum PET-G Premium filament combines the most desirable features of PLA and ABS.
Elements made with the use of transparent colors of Spectrum PET-G Premium are characterized by a high proportion of the crystalline phase, which makes it possible to obtain an effect close to transparency with a small number of external contours of additively produced elements. The base material and the dyes used in the production of Spectrum PET-G Premium are approved for contact with food.
Other properties of Spectrum PETG include good creep resistance under constant load conditions. This is possible due to the connection between the layers of the applied material. This results in a much lower anisotropy of mechanical properties in the manufactured elements and means that mechanical properties vary less in individual directions of production compared to other thermoplastics intended for 3D printing.
