Spectrum Filament will allow you to transfer all your projects into the real world in high quality. Thanks to a wide range of colors everyone should find something suitable for themselves.
Spectrum PETG/PTFE filament
PETG with tribological properties
The popularization of 3D technology and the increase in specific expectations regarding the functionality of printouts entails the need to develop more and more specialized materials.
Spectrum PETG/PTFE copolymer for sliding elements and racks. PET-G, well-known for its excellent mechanical parameters, was used as the basis for the development of the material, supplemented by the addition of 10% PTFE, commonly known as Teflon, with self-lubricating properties. Thanks to the careful selection of components while reducing the friction coefficient, the filament retains the ease of printing, interlayer adhesion, impact strength and thermal properties characteristic of PET-G.
Spectrum PETG/PTFE will be used in printed elements exposed to increased wear resulting from friction and operating temperatures up to 70°C. The filament is available in a wide range of colors.
Advantages of PETG/PTFE:
- 10% PTFE content
- reduced coefficient of friction compared to the classic PET-G
- temperature resistance up to 70°C
- ease of printing
- good chemical resistance
- perfect bonding of layers
Application of PETG/PTFE:
- functional prototypes
- production of parts with a low coefficient of friction
- production of low-load gears and transmission components
- end use parts
